Tom, interesting thought. Please keep us informed. I have made almost the exact mods that you have. White spacer,150 jet,7 discs in super-trap. I tried the taking taking the air box cover off but too much intake noise and the bike was running too lean. I ordered a 155 main jet and I also ordered filter foam from Dennis Kirk. I'm going to rejet it and use the foam on air filter. My bike actually runs better with 6 discs in the super trapp but I like the sound of 7 better. That is why I think it is still running just a tad lean. Talk with you later. John
